Our current project is with Gent 48, Birmingham’s born and bred, world-renowned graffiti artist who painted ‘Forward In Unity’. In these unprecedented times of COVID-19, the artwork demonstrates that the City of Birmingham does indeed move ‘Forward In Unity’. This epic depiction is of the City’s NHS and frontline workers fighting back against the evil grasp of the virus that has taken hold of the social lives and economic wellbeing of the residents of Birmingham. You can go and see Gent 48’s masterpiece, in the flesh, on Meriden Street in Digbeth at the rear of Norton’s Bar.

Our spirit has been severely tested in the face of extreme adversity, as many lives have been torn apart through the loss of loved ones and broken livelihoods. Now is the time to show our indomitable spirit and support those people in the City who need our help most. You can help in one of two ways:

Upon purchasing a print, you’ll receive an email confirmation, followed by an invoice. You’ll be invited to complete your purchase with a donation to JustGiving, which secures your print and completes your order.

All proceeds through JustGiving, including print purchases, will go directly to the Lord Mayor of Birmingham’s Charity. That organisation will then further distribute funds raised to:

  • Acorns Children’s Hospice

  • Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice

  • SIFA Fireside
